Finished recording our 3rd album! I can hardly believe it myself. What a huge week Nigel and I have had in the studio with John Stuart @Soundheaven...And am I excited? You bet I am. I received the rough mixes today and I'm kid at Christmas eager to share what we've done but patience patience. We'll be mixing mid to late April - ready to let the horse out the gate by early May. Grab your vintage cowboy boots, work 'em like the man in black and stay tuned. Also, we may have jumped genres just slightly but we're okay with it and we hope you will be too ;)

Hi EVERYONE!!!!
That's it!! ALL OVER RED ROVER. Our POZIBLE campaign is done! We couldn't have managed this without YOU -
our community record company. Nigel and I want to express our deepest
gratitude to everyone who gave us their bucks and their belief to help
us turn a little dream into a quickly evolving reality. We will be
heading into the studio on March 9 for a week of recording. A week of
mastering is scheduled to follow and all of you who opted for a digital
copy of the album should hopefully receive it before the end of March or
possibly at the beginning of April - apt for our Northern hemisphere
dwellers who will be entering into Spring and a rebirth after winter -
good for those of you I hope in the Southern hemisphere too who want
some warm tunes for winter. Please stay connected with our progress via
our Facebook page or through our blog here on the website which I promise to
keep updated with news, pics and video as we progress. Regarding
rewards, I will be in touch with each and every one of you to talk about
the specifics of your choices when we're a little closer to developing
the album artwork. That's it for now - Thank you again - I hope you

January 23rd 2013 - POZIBLE PROJECT SUCCESSFUL!
Many many thanks to everyone who pledged to our Pozible project. We reached our funding goal as of today, the 23rd of January, 7 days early and that means we have enough $$$ to get into the recording studio come March and get down to the business of recording the album! Watch this space for updates!

We had a great weekend of gigs in Brisbane recently. Really enjoyed Waxing Lyrical at the Powerhouse - so too the private house concerts we played. Thank you Brissie. So, looking ahead, see you at Wingham Akoostik Festival this weekend - the 20th and 21st of October - we'll be playing at midday on Saturday. Hope to see you there.

Nigel is currently enjoying some downtime having recently become a dad. He and his lovely wife Barb welcomed their first child, a daughter, Edina into the world on July 26th. Being a Leo she may well gravitate towards the stage like her father, in which case, as soon as she's old enough to hit or strum something - we're on it.
I too have given birth, not to a child as I already have 3 of those and that's more than enough - no, I have finally put rachaelbrady.com to use and chucked this new site together - mind the craft glue, it's still wet. I couldn't bear the thought of it pointing to myspace anymore as that place is all tumbleweeds and spaghetti western sound effects. We'll be back gigging in October so If you're in Brisbane on Saturday the 13th be sure to come and see us for "waxing lyrical" at the Brisbane Powerhouse from 5pm.
